Once prepaid phone cards revolutionized mobile talk. Now is the time to part with them.
On February 28, 2017, we will discontinue the sale of Telia's prepaid products, and on April 30, 2017 - at 23:59:59 to be precise - we will finally close the network for our prepaid products. After this date, they can no longer be used.
The reason for the phase-out is that prepaid phone cards are primarily aimed at customers wanting a subscription without having to register.
This anonymity makes it hard to maintain a good customer relationship and matches badly with Telia's DNA. We like to talk to our customers, and we love to provide good customer service. At the same time, the prepaid business is no longer profitable for Telia.
February 1, 2017: Customers receive a text message that Telia is closing its sale of prepaid products.
February 28, 2017: All sales of prepaid products stop.

Transfer your prepaid phone card to a subscription
As prepaid phone card customer, you can transfer your number to one of our attractive subscriptions. You can either choose subscription only, or you can choose to get a smart, new mobile with your new subscription.
We will also make sure your remaining prepaid minutes are carried over to the new subscription. To transfer your prepaid number to a subscription you need to contact customer operations at 82 33 61 25 og visit one of our shops.
Have the balance on the prepaid phone card paid
You may have the remaining prepaid minutes paid against an administration fee of DKK 50. If you choose to recieve the remaining balance, it is important that you keep your sim card, as you need to send it to us. If you want to receive the balance of your prepaid card against an administration fee of DKK 50,- please contact customer operations at 82 33 61 25.
It is possible to move your prepaid phone card number to another telephone comany. If you want to reassign your phone number to another telephone company, you must do so no later than April 15, 2017, as it takes up to 14 days for the phone number transfer to go through. If a number transfer is moved after April 30, it will not be possible to complete the transfer.
